Empowering Global HR Transformation: Accelerating Employee Central Adoption and Strategic Upskilling

The client faced the complex challenge of rolling out SAP Employee Central to employees across multiple functions and geographies. This transformation required a comprehensive upskilling of the HR organization, from senior leadership to regional teams, to overcome resistance and ensure effective engagement. The organization also required timely and reliable workforce data, which the new system could provide, addressing past challenges of fragmented data access. Additionally, the leadership team needed to act as change agents, guiding their teams through the adoption of new responsibilities and processes and setting out the vision for a more strategic HR function.
OXYGY designed a multi-faceted approach to drive adoption and prepare the global HR team for this transformation. This included creating knowledge assets and delivering differentiated change activation sessions tailored to each level of the organization. In support of a global rollout, the toolkit and resources were translated into multiple languages to ensure all employees, regardless of location, could fully engage with the transformation.
At the heart of this effort was the HR Academy, which equipped the organization with essential skills in change management, strategic positioning, and data-driven decision-making. Scenario-based workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions for senior leaders prepared them to drive change and engage their teams. Leadership workshops were held at each stage of the transformation, engaging managers as amplifiers of change, ready to inspire their teams. Beyond this, OXYGY built a network of 50+ change champions across major regions to provide on-the-ground support, reinforcing the adoption of new systems and processes.

By upskilling the HR team and reducing administrative tasks, the organization could focus on strategic priorities. The emphasis on data-driven decision-making enabled HR to leverage insights, positioning the organization to respond proactively to business needs. Leadership workshops turned managers into effective change leaders, and with strong executive sponsorship and a network of change champions, the transformation process was supported at every level. The digital solution was adopted smoothly and swiftly, positioning the organization for sustained success and growth.
