OXYGY has joined the AI for Developing Countries Forum (AIFOD) as an Institutional Member, reinforcing its commitment to the responsible, inclusive, and globally equitable use of artificial intelligence.

AIFOD is one of the world’s largest international AI organizations, dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence as a driver of sustainable development in the Global South. With more than 6,000 members across over 150 countries, the forum brings together policymakers, innovators, and industry leaders to promote responsible AI adoption, digital sovereignty, and capacity building in developing nations.

Through its membership, OXYGY contributes expertise in digital transformation, digital infrastructure, responsible AI governance, and regulatory compliance. The collaboration reflects a shared ambition to ensure that technological innovation delivers tangible societal and economic value beyond established markets.

OXYGY is represented within AIFOD by:

  • Nobu Ota, Partner and Head of Asia, with over 25 years of international experience in strategy, innovation, and business transformation.
  • Yuji Develle, Senior Consultant, Project Manager for the European Blockchain Sandbox, and lead for OXYGY’s Responsible AI and Blockchain offerings.

As part of its engagement with AIFOD, Nobu Ota and Yuji Develle will facilitate a session on AI Policy and Standards at the AIFOD Bangkok Summit 2026, taking place from 4–6 February at the United Nations Conference Centre.

The summit brings together representatives from more than 150 countries, including government leaders, technology innovators, investors, and policymakers. Over three days, participants will collaborate on advancing sovereign AI capabilities, with the aim of supporting developing countries in strengthening their role as creators—not only consumers—of artificial intelligence.
